The mDigger project is built upon a collection of unique technologies used for information selection (from a multitude of sources), and its subsequent transformation into different formats. As a developer you may make use of these technologies within the framework of the existing mDigger Service or, alternatively, you may license the technology from us for use in your own solutions.
Use our technology within the framework of mDigger Service
The use of our technology from within the realm of our service offers a wide range of possibilities to quickly create solutions for selection and delivery of diverse informational content to different devices.
- Create your own mClips. We provide developers with the opportunity to create mClips and have them published within mDigger’s catalog for all to see and use. All you need is some knowledge of XSL & XPath queries. Then with the aid of mDigger’s mClip Editor, a developer tool we provide to you free of charge, you’re on your way to creating your first mClips! - Manage your own mClips within our service. As a developer, you may manage catalog entries for your mClips and determine access and usage rules (including adding payment and other requirements).
- Monetize your mClips by associating them with ads or affiliate programs. For more information on our revenue sharing programs, contact us here.
- Create client application programs that will work with mDigger. All of the working protocols for our service are based on open standards, such as XML, HTTP, Web-services, etc. In the near future, we plan to publish detailed specifications of protocols that will be accessed for free without signing any licensing agreements (technology modules).
- Integrate mDigger into your solutions. Our service was specially built using a modular concept, enabling modules to be included or excluded from different solutions. For instance, if you want to use our information delivery service within the framework or your own solution, you need only to subscribe to use the module for information processing and synchronization, while user and catalog management functions can be carried out within your own solution.
Licensing Technology Modules
We sell licenses for our processing and transformation modules as well as the synchronization module. Under our licensing agreement, you may use data from the modules in your solutions. If you are interested in licensing our technology, please contact us by e-mail.
Technical Support for Developers
We provide free technical support to developers working on mClips via a specialized forum for free. However, we will be happy to accommodate you if you require a higher level of support for customized solutions upon signing a separate technical support agreement.
